Compton Unified School District Under-Fire; This Time from Former NFL, CIF, and Alumni’s who Demand Answers as to Why the 2015 CIF Basketball Championship Winners Are Being Locked Out of Their Gym -

October 13, 2015 For Immediate Release Compton Unified School District Under-Fire; This Time from Former NFL, CIF, and Alumni’s who Demand Answers as to Why the 2015 CIF Basketball Championship Winners Are Being Locked Out of Their Gym - COMPTON, CA- Former Compton Alumni, Athletes, and CIF Championship players descend on the Compton Unified School District; after the district once again put Politics first and pushing the 2014 CIF Championship Basketball Players out of their Gym to redo the Gym floor to rename it in honor of a former coach.
After years of hard work and determination the Compton High School Tarbabes Boys Basketball Program brought home its first CIF championship since 1969.
On March 2, 2015, Compton put on a relentless display of athletic domination against Redlands East Valley in the CIF-SS Division 2A championship game which was played at the Honda Center, defeating the Wildcats 63-48. The win is the eighth CIF title for boys basketball program. This was a prized accomplishment for Coach Tony Thomas. His father Eddie Thomas was an assistant coach on the Compton championship teams in the 60s and the Compton High school gym bears his name in honorarium. Eddie was head coach of the Tarbabes from 1972 until his passing in 1987, and helped lead the school through the riots in the early 70s. Although Eddie Thomas never won a championship as a head coach, his son can now celebrate this accomplishment and the foundation laid by his father.
We Will Be in Attendance at the Compton Unified Board of Trustees Meeting to night, October 13, 2015 501 S. Santa Fe Ave, Compton CA 90221 5:00PM
The Office of The Ombudsman General has stepped in to Fact Find in this most odious matter after “Former Compton High School Alumni contacted our Agency to investigate the facts of why the School Board would “Lock Out” this Championship Winning Team denying them their most paramount practice time which cannot be recovered.” Said Bishop L J Guillory, Ombudsman General to National Ombudsman / Ombudsman International. Mayor AJA BROWN of The City of Compton Speaks Out about the The Shade Thrown Her Way!

From the Desk of Mayor Aja Brown August 21, 2015 _____________________________________________________________________________________ I was sworn-in to serve the residents of Compton July 1, 2013. That following Monday, the very first meeting that I had with the City Attorney, I discussed my policy agenda, which included several policy reforms, one being council compensation reform. He informed me that council compensation was set by city charter, which required a vote of the people. I informed him that I planned to address council salaries at the very next opportunity to do so, which was the upcoming 2015 election.
Council compensation is comprised of a combination of a monthly salary set by city charter and council commissions (weekly meetings), in addition to an auto and cell phone allowance. I subsequently approached my senior council colleague, Councilwoman Arceneaux on the issue, because removing commission salaries required a vote of the council body, in which as mayor, I only have one vote. Councilwoman Arceneaux stood with me on this issue. I brought this item to the council floor as a discussion item for further action. The item did not have council support. I was later approached by other council members on the matter that requested that I drop the issue for various reasons. I responded that this is something that I promised to address and had full intentions on doing so, in a fair and transparent way, along with additional policy revisions that I believed would help improve the city. The very first meeting that I had with my new colleague on the city council, just two days after she was elected in June 2015 (she hadn't even been sworn in yet), I asked her for her support to address council compensation. Again, all council action requires three votes. She stated that she would support doing what is right for the community. I also discussed in great detail a reform package that I had planned to introduce the following month.
As part of the July 2015 State of the City Address, I presented a reform package to the community that focused on improving city infrastructure, administrative stability and city council salary reform, which proposed that council salaries would be directly tied to Compton's median household income. Council members compensation would be on par with the people that we serve. July 21, 2015 the reform package was introduced to the city council. I requested that the council vote to allow the residents of Compton to vote in the November 2015 election as they deemed appropriate. The council item did not ask the council to support or endorse the ballot measures, but simply let the people decide what they want for their city. The reform package failed for a lack of council support, with the exception of one council member, Isaac Galvan. In the July 28th Council meeting, prior to any knowledge of any legal order, I requested the City Attorney bring resolutions to close commissions and dissolve compensation for the next Council meeting to be held on September 1, 2015. Some may ask, why hadn't I made this request prior to now. The
answer is that I had, multiple times, but I did not have council support. Instead of alienating myself from my colleagues, I chose to work cooperatively to move the city forward as much as possible, prevent council gridlock and present my colleagues with a reasonable and fair alternative at the appropriate time, which is exactly the course of action that I had taken. Now, in regard to legality, these commissions have been in operation for 20 plus years in Compton. Compton is a charter city, which means our city charter is the key governing document, comparable to the U.S. Constitution. There are two types of cities in the state of CA- General Law and Charter City. General Law cities are governed directly by the state's constitution. Charter cities are governed by their city charter. The District Attorney's office has reviewed the legality of council salaries in the past with no recourse. The current correspondence referenced by tbe Los Angeles Times requests that council take action. It is not a mandate. The City Attorney has issued a rebuttal regarding the application of the referenced case law. More importantly, as I stated on public record in the July 28, 2015 commission meeting, what may be legal is not always ethical.
In order to make a determination, I think it's critical to consider the intent and context of the original charter provision as enacted. The city's charter states that city council members should be compensated $600 per month, enacted in approximately 1950. In 1950, a mortgage in Compton was on average $100. $600 adjusted in today's dollars is $5,969.79 per month. Had the authors of the charter included a clause to adjust the desired compensation of $600 per month for inflation, the council would earn over $70,000 a year in today's dollars. The city charter does not state that council members should serve "part-time" which is oftentimes stated in error.
Now, in the current city structure, I can only recommend policy changes to the council body. If the city council as a body, does not decide to take action on policy changes that require a charter change, the next option is to bypass the council through a signature gathering effort (voter petition) to force a special election. Unfortunately, the city council did not support giving voters their opportunity to vote on the reform package in November 2015, which not only addressed reducing council salaries, but included a 1 cents sales tax measure to repave every city street, hire additional fire fighters, purchase critical safety equipment, improve street lighting, refurbish city parks, provide dedicated funding for youth programs, gang intervention, and more. I am currently working with a group of stakeholders and residents to gather signatures to address our city's service needs.
The reality is this - there are some people heavily invested in maintaining the status quo for a variety of reasons. Some people don't want change because they just can't see it, while others are too afraid to do something different and move beyond the status quo. Some people want failure to prove a moot point, while others want to cover their inadequacies or lack of effectiveness to solidly their significance. At any rate, my sole question is: What about the people? I believe the people deserve progress at the expense of any and all egos and personal agendas. A wise person told me that the only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time. Change is a process that definitely does not come easy, but I'm up for the challenge. Sincerely, AJA BROWN Mayor City of Compton CITY OF COMPTON | OFFICE OF MAYOR AJA BROWN

Bishop L J Guillory and Dick Gregory 4 Hours No Holds Bar Interview on Racism, Sexism, White Privilege and Black Assassinations By The Government in America

Icon Dick Gregory, American, Civil Rights Activist, Social Critic, Writer and Entrepreneur; spends two hours with the Honorable Bishop L J Guillory, Ombudsman General; Host of The Ombudsman Press (Radio) Show. The two men have spent years telling America that she is wrong for her treatment of her Niggers.
From an early age, Gregory demonstrated a strong sense of social justice. While a student at Sumner High School in St. Louis he led a March protesting Segregated schools. Later, inspired by the work of leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and organizations such as the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC), Gregory took part in the Civil Rights Movement and used his celebrity status to draw attention to such issues as segregation and disfranchisement. When local Mississippi governments stopped distributing Federal food surpluses to poor blacks in areas where SNCC was encouraging voter registration, Gregory chartered a plane to bring in several tons of food. He participated in SNCC's voter registration drives and in sit-ins to protest segregation, most notably at a restaurant franchise in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Only later did Gregory disclose that he held stock in the chain.
Gregory's autobiography, Nigger, was published in 1963 prior to The assassination of President Kennedy, and became the number one best-selling book in America. Over the decades it has sold in excess of seven million copies. His choice for the title was explained in the forward, where Dick Gregory wrote a note to his mother. "Whenever you hear the word 'Nigger'," he said, "you'll know their advertising my book."

BISHOP L J GUILLORY, OMBUDSMAN GENERAL; SPEAKS OUT! ~ AT THE ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS HEARING; "I ALSO AM SUING THE COUNTY" 'GUILLORY vs HILL'

U.S. Department of Justice officials recently notified county officials via email that they’re “keeping an eye on” how the county handles the future of the office, as well as the use of informants in the jail by the Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney’s Office.
The Office of The Ombudsman General, has also been keeping an opened eye but trying to stay out of the Oversight until after a Law Suit is adjudicated. National Ombudsman, is an independent government oversight agency acting as an advocate for private citizens in response to complaints of misconduct against public officials, public employees, and private contractors employed by public entities. The agency investigates complaints, issues reports of its findings, and attempts to remedy problems through mediation where possible and litigation where necessary.
Bishop L J Guillory, Ombudsman General for National Ombudsman and Ombudsman International spoke out at Orange County Board of Supervisors; the meeting included other presentations by police oversight experts Merrick Bobb, executive director of the police assessment Resource Center; Erwin Chemerinsky, dean of the UC Irvine School of Law; Michael Gennaco, former member of the Los Angeles County Office of Independent Review Brian Buckner, President of the National Association for Civilian Oversight of Law Enforcement. The panel also included Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens.
Bobb, who monitored the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as special counsel to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, praised Hutchens, Connelly and the Office of Independent Review model but said if supervisors want another model, an inspector general office is something to consider. Supervisors made no decisions, but Spitzer and Andrew Do will meet as an ad hoc committee to make recommendations at the next board meeting Aug. 4.
State lawyers filed a brief July 14 supporting the District Attorney Tony Rackauckas’ appeal of a March decision to bar his office from the penalty phase of Seal Beach mass murderer Scott Dekraai, who was targeted by an illegal informant while housed at the jail and faces the death penalty. In it, they reference “systemic problems” in the sheriff’s office and misconduct by deputies they argue is unrelated to the DA’s office.
"I Support Oversight in Orange County, as there is a Great need for it. I have stayed out of this fight do in part to my own 'Law Suit' against Orange County. Which, has been going on since 2007 and has cost Orange County Millions. Yet, there Legal Team at the County have refuse to ever try to resolve the Case that has now been ruled by The Court of Appeal and Confirmed by The California Supreme Court that other taxpayers and I had had our Civil Rights Violated by a (former) Orange County Sheriff - 'Guillory vs Hill' said; Bishop Guillory"
“I was alarmed that they’d already pointed fingers and they hadn’t started an investigation,” said Board Chairman Todd Spitzer. Meanwhile, District Attorney Tony Rackauckas has recruited a panel of legal experts to look at the informant issue. But Hutchens said Friday it “deserves a larger look.”

Be Careful When You Accept Strangers as Friends on Facebook! I wasn't Careful with John Edward Kurian Jr., Possible Rapist, Child Molesters and Stalker?

When This Girl Accepted A Strangers Friend Request On Facebook She Didn’t Expect What He Would Do. A guy like John Edward Kurian Jr., Citizen X sends you a friend request. You don’t know him, but he’s got a normal profile picture, so you accept his friend request. The next day it’s your baby girl’s first day of school. She looks so cute in her new outfit you just have to take a picture and put it on Facebook so all your friends and family can see. You’re so excited dropping her off that you ‘Check in’ to her school on FB saying ‘I can’t believe how big she’s gotten. Time sure flies. One proud momma/daddy right here’. Meanwhile, the mystery guy whose friend request you hurriedly accepted earlier this morning is saving that picture you posted of your daughter in her cute new outfit to his phone and texting it to 60 other grown men across the world with the caption –
‘American Female. Age 5. Brown Hair. Black Eyes. $5,000-‘. Not only did you provide a picture of your little girl to a child trafficker, you’ve handed him the name and exact location of her school on a silver cyber platter. You go to pick her up at 3:00 this afternoon, but she’s nowhere to be found. Little do you know, your precious baby girl was sold to a 43 years old pedophile before you even stepped foot off campus this morning, and now she’s on her way to South Africa with a bag over her head, confused, terrified and crying because a man she’s never seen before picked her up from school, and now she doesn’t know where her parents are, where she’s going, or what’s gonna happen to her.

The Ombudsman General Responds To Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin's Rant That Gangs Should Be Charged As Domestic Terrorist!

After another violent weekend in Chicago in which 12 people were murdered and 43 others wounded calling for drastic measures to go after hard core gang members. "They're terrorists trying to destabilize communities and we ought to charge them with domestic terrorism," said Commissioner Richard Boykin of Forest Park.
Archbishop L. J Guillory, The Ombudsman General Responds:
Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin, I’d advise strongly that take time and stop and re-think this most paramount matter before you push this odious request to ask Law Enforcement to single out Gang Bangers “Black Youth” as Domestic Terrorist. And, giving Cops/Prosecutors another opportunity to murder and Mass Incarcerate our Black Young Men, with the full support of you sold out non effective, self-serving and sometimes self-appointed black officials.
Remember the 80’s ~ it was you black irresponsible politicians that requested that the U.S. Government officials in Washington, D.C. to make stronger Crack Cocaine Laws and invited; Federal Agencies into your own local communities.
While, grand standing in front of media cameras like ‘You” Commissioner Richard Boykin, the same black democrats politicians, that first said; “Lock Them Up” are now campaigning to the Government; “Let our People Go!” Don’t hide behind the fake facts. After decades of mismanagement of public funds and fake leaders who have No Real Power and or Community Control in these same communities that you claim to be Leaders you ask your own constituents to listen to you and stop the violence!
If you were Real Leaders, they would follow your directives. The KKK or Klan, (Real’ Domestic Terrorist) march in parades across this country and not one of you so called black leaders can stop that nor can you label them as Domestic Terrorist after 200 years of the most odious Terrorist Activities in America.
Here are some facts; that I Pray that you will would take time to cogitate; the drug wars has produced profoundly unequal outcomes across racial groups, manifested through racial discrimination by law enforcement and disproportionate drug war misery suffered by communities of color. Although rates of drug use and selling are comparable across racial lines, people of color are far more likely to be stopped, searched, arrested, prosecuted, convicted and incarcerated for drug law violations than are whites.
Higher arrest and incarceration rates for African Americans and Latinos are not reflective of increased prevalence of drug use or sales in these communities, but rather of a law enforcement focus on urban areas, on lower-income communities and on communities of color as well as inequitable treatment by the criminal justice system. We believe that the mass criminalization of people of color, particularly young African American men, is as profound a system of racial control as the Jim Crow laws were in this country until the mid-1960s.
The problem with Gangs and the Violence, taking place across America is much deeper than what is seen at the surface of any of the conversations that is being discussed in institutional systems, right now. There still isn’t a willingness of public officials Black or White to take accountability and/or responsibility for the shortcomings of the Leaders/Politicians of the Communities that they serve. We, must start with Real Talk about The Leaders! If you are calling yourself a Leader and No One is Following ~ Are You a Leader?

Archbishop L. J. Guillory, Saying Prayers For The People of Henderson, Texas 'East Texas was Hit Hard By The Rain Storm!'

My Prayers to all of my Henderson Family & Friends who are living thru this unfortunate and devastating storm. I know that this city will get through this and repair and/or re-build any of the damaged areas.
Storms dropped a massive amount of rain as they passed over East Texas, so fast the water had nowhere to go. In Henderson, TX An emergency shelter has been set up at Henderson Civic Center on Highway 64 for anyone displaced in Monday's storms, according to the Rusk County Office of Emergency Management.
The Emergency Operations Center has been activated in the City of Henderson. We have reports of substantial damage in the downtown area. Henderson ISD has canceled classes Tuesday. The Rusk County Office of Emergency Management discourages travel in Henderson or Rusk County. They are reporting hazardous road conditions created by trees, downed power lines and debris.
"I also know that those living and/or working in the Henderson. Rusk County 'East Texas' area will work together to help those devastated, affected and or in need; as, a result of the storm. I have contacted my friends in Washington, D.C. (even on the Holiday) and am being told that once the Texas Governor declares a State of Emergency, FEMA resources are available in short order," Said, Archbishop Guillory, who also serves the Ombudsman General to National Ombudsman / Ombudsman International www.SaveAmericaFoundation.Org
Update May 29, 2015 Multiple East Texas counties have been added to the state's disaster declaration list, announced Governor Greg Abbott Friday. Twenty-four counties were added, bringing the total number to 70. The counties added to the declaration are: Angelina, Burleson, Cherokee, Edwards, Ellis, Fayette, Gillespie, Kaufman, Lamar, Liberty, Leon, Lynn, Madison, Milam, Real, Refugio, Rusk, Sabine, Travis, Tyler, Uvalde, Victoria, Waller and Wharton. Additional counties may be added as the situation develops.
“The large number of Texas counties currently experiencing a state of disaster is an indication of how severe this ongoing weather situation is, and I cannot emphasize enough how important it is for everyone to heed local officials’ warnings,” said Governor Abbott. “Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with all those affected, and I strongly urge all Texans to take all precautions to protect themselves and their families and neighbors.” Texans are encouraged to follow these safety tips during this weather event: When severe storms threaten, the safest place to be is indoors. Avoid areas already flooded and avoid any fast-flowing water. Be extremely cautious of any water on roads or in creeks, streams, storm drains or other areas – never attempt to cross flowing streams or drive across flooded roadways and observe road barricades placed for your protection.
Remember that dangerous waters can seem deceptively calm, and if you encounter flooding, move to higher ground. Monitor weather radios and news broadcasts for updated information on current and anticipated severe weather in your area. Keep in mind that flood dangers are even harder to recognize at night. · Be mindful that rising and moving water can also threaten people on foot and individuals near recreational waterways impacted by significant rainfall. Monitor weather radios and news broadcasts for updated information on current and anticipated severe weather in your area. Stay informed and heed warnings by local officials. For additional safety tips related to tornadoes, thunderstorms and flooding, see: http://dps.texas.gov/dem/ThreatAwareness/weather_aware_severe.htm The American Red Cross has established the following website for individuals in impacted areas: https://safeandwell.communityos.org/cms/index.php The following resources are involved in the state’s continued response to this weather event: Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS): Assisting with reconnaissance, search and rescue efforts, and providing personnel and resources as needed.
Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD): Conducting search and rescue missions during flash flooding/water incidents in affected areas. Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS): DSHS have mobilized resources, equipment and personnel to provide medical assistance as needed. Texas Military Forces (TMF): TMF has deployed aircraft and high-profile vehicles, and continues providing assistance with search and rescue missions as needed. Texas Task Force 1 (TTF1): Air and boat rescue squads have been deployed for search and rescue missions as needed. Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ): Continues to monitor dams and river levels in the affected areas. Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT): Crews have deployed resources to address flooding conditions and debris cleanup impacting roadways. Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUC): Personnel continue to work with utility companies to resolve power/utility issues.
